16 Handles Rewards treats you for treating yourself! To get started, download the 16 Handles app for iOS or Android, or create an account online.
As a 16 Handles Rewards member, you will:
- Earn 10 Points for every $1 you spend.
- Receive a $5 Reward every time you collect 500 Points.
- Earn Points both in shops and on pickup & delivery orders.
- Receive a $5 Reward on your birthday.
- Get exclusive access to Promo Codes and specials reserved for 16 Handles Rewards members.
Simply tap SCAN, then TAP HERE TO SCAN QR CODE IN STORE within the 16 Handles app, and scan your QR code at checkout. You will automatically receive Points for your purchase, and if you have Rewards credit, it will be automatically redeemed.
Simply tap ORDER within the 16 Handles app and select DELIVERY or PICK UP to place your order. You can also place your order online by signing in to your Rewards account at order.16handles.com. You will automatically receive Points for your purchase, and if you have Rewards credit, it will be automatically redeemed.
Yes, but don’t worry—you’ve got plenty of time to use them! Points and loyalty credits expire 365 days from the date on which they were earned.
As long as you entered your birthday when you signed up for 16 Handles Rewards, you’ll automatically receive your $5 Birthday Reward at 12:01am on your birthday as “Available Credit.” Your Reward will be automatically redeemed when you scan your app’s QR code in store or when you place an in-app pickup or delivery order. Birthday Rewards expire 365 days after they are loaded. Not sure if you entered your birthday during sign-up? In the 16 Handles app, tap ACCOUNT, then PROFILE to check. You can request to add a birthday by selecting Feedback & Help, then Get App Help under the ACCOUNT tab to send us a message.
Pay-in-store is available at all shops except our Upper East Side & Upper West Side locations. To preload funds for payment via the 16 Handles app, tap ACCOUNT then Add Funds & Pay. Under My Balance, choose an amount to Refill. Once you have preloaded Balance to your account, you must scan the QR code on the Add Funds & Pay tab—just let your cashier know you plan to pay with the 16 Handles app. This QR code will add Points for your order, redeem any applicable Rewards, and then pay your check using your preloaded Balance.
If you received a Promo Code for a bonus Reward that can be redeemed in store, tap the SCAN tab, then tap REDEEM A PROMO. Enter your Promo Code and tap VERIFY CODE to add the bonus Reward to your account. Your Reward will be automatically redeemed at checkout when you scan your app’s QR code in store. If you received a Promo Code for a discount that can be redeemed for pickup or delivery orders, simply enter it at checkout when placing your order.
No, Rewards are automatically redeemed during most transactions.
Yes! Rewards members without smart phones can sign up on a computer HERE via our website!. Once you’ve created an account, you can ask a team member to look up your account with your registered phone number when you make a purchase in a 16 Handles shop. If you wish to place a pickup or delivery order, you can do so online at order.16handles.com.
Within the 16 Handles app, tap ACCOUNT, then choose Profile or Manage Cards to update personal or payment information.
No, Points are not earned and Rewards cannot be redeemed when purchasing a gift card.
Not at this time. You must use the 16 Handles app to receive Points and redeem Rewards before paying separately with your gift card or e-gift card.
Points are only available when you place your order directly with 16 Handles either within the 16 Handles app or online via order.16handles.com.

If you had a 16 Handles Rewards account between 2017 and 2020, you can simply sign in to the current 16 Handles Rewards app using your previously registered email address. After you reset your password and answer a few sign-up questions, your Points and Rewards will transfer over.
